Reschedule Policy
The following information is to be used when a game or games need to be rescheduled due to cancellations, team conflict, weather etc.
Weather Related Cancellations That Require Rescheduling -
Note: Weather related cancellations are not made by the league. They are made by the individual towns within the league. On occasions, there will be towns that cancel games and others that do not. The town commissioner is responsible for cancelling games within their town. That word is then passed down to the coordinators and coaches.
When games have been cancelled due to weather the following steps need to be taken by the head coach who's town the game was to be played in.
- Head coach contacts (via phone call) the opposing coach to inform them their game has been cancelled due to weather. This call should be placed as soon as possible after word of the cancellation is received and prior to the start of the game.
- Both coaches agree on a date for make-up game to be played.
- Head coach calls (no email) the head of umpiring with date change.
- If applicable, head coach contacts town coordinator or commissioner.
* For each rescheduled game a $4.00 assigner fee will be assessed.
* When the game has been played, the winning team must report the score to the appropriate divisional representative. In addition, the divisional representative must be made aware of the original date the game was to have been played.

Non-Weather Related Cancellations That Require Rescheduling -

Teams that need to cancel a game must do so more than 48 hours from the start of the game to avoid paying umpire fees.

Teams that cancel a game 24-47 hours prior to the start of the game will be charged half ($23.00) of the umpire fees.

Teams that cancel a game 23 hours or less prior to the start of the game will be charged full umpire fees ($46.00).
- Head coach of the team that is cancelling the game must call the head of umpiring to provide reschedule date.
- For each rescheduled game a $4.00 assigner fee will be assessed.
- When the game has been played, the winning team must report the score to the appropriate divisional representative. In addition, the divisional representative must be made aware of the original date the game was to have been played.
